Victory for Streeter

On Wednesday, January 16, 2008, the False Accuser's fairy tale accusations went down in flames as Officer Streeter emerged from this case victorious.

In a brief deliberation that took less than an hour, the jury laughed off these folklores that essentially amounted to hosing away taxpayer money in the wake of a recession. Officer Streeter was found not guilty as was the expected outcome.

During the course of the proceedings, Officer Streeter's attorney, Peter Fayne of Rosenberg & Fayne LLP, essentially made the False Accuser and her cohorts look like donkeys who were inept at putting together a tall tale that was even plausible in the eyes of a third grader.

Mr. Fayne recalled the Story Teller on the second day of proceedings where she then proceeded to essentially commit a criminal act of perjury on the witness stand as she was unable to reconcile the various versions of her folklore.

Assistant District Attorney, Jessica Hall, pinned the State's hopes to a phone bill.

The Fund would like to thank those that have made generous donations to this point in an attempt to bring about justice and defray Officer Streeter's legal fees. The Fund has raised in excess of $10,000 to this point as the result of this quest for justice. While the majority of Officer Streeter's legal fees have been defrayed via donations, the Fund is still accepting donations to offset the balance of his fees.
